Years ago we talked about "Convergence". one of my friends with a background in TV technology described what he thought convergence (internet and TV convergence) would look like.

That was 10 yers ago when 56k dialup was the latest thing and only major corporations had the connections we now have at home.

His idea looked a lot like this. So, Wilf you were right. I last saw him walking from TV Centre to White City Tube - he had been working on ... convergence.
